A Message from the President of BBRI’s Alumni Group

I hope you are as proud as I am to be an alumnus of an Institute as unique as BBRI. I am grateful I had the opportunity to gain valuable research experience in an independent and truly collaborative atmosphere. BBRI faculty continue to provide mentoring to young scientists-in-training, and the Institute has grown in size and research scope since moving to its new facility in Watertown.

BBRI’s Alumni group is an informal way for the several hundred alumni of our institute to stay in touch with each other and with BBRI. Our major reunion each year is during dinner at the Biophysical Society Meeting. At the 2004 Biophysical Society Meeting we will gather on the evening of March (to be arranged), following the Subgroup meeting.

Joining the BBRI alumni group is simple and so is updating your contact information if you are already a member. Just send an e-mail message to and provide:

A current mailing address and telephone number,
Your professional affiliation, and
Your e-mail address.
Members of our alumni group will receive updates on seminars and events at BBRI, details for the reunion at the Biophysical Society and BBRI’s Newsletter, The Messenger.
